Plaid Shirts!

I love the plaid shirts. They're a must for fall. Just pair them with a tank or a band tee, jeans and flip-flops to accomplish the put-together hobo look.

Shopping Tips!

• Do not always buy from Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister or American Eagle. Unless you want to look like everybody else, buy from thrift stores, vintage shops, consignment shops, outlets etc.
  
• Don't splurge on accessories. You can get any type of accessories from Plato's Closet. Look for vintage accessories-you don't want to look like everyone else!
  
• Don't be the same old shoes girl-buy something other than sneakers or flip-flops.
• Buy darker, richer colors for fall. Dark colors stay classic, but an occasional bright is all you need to transform an outfit.
• Buy fitted, but loose t-shirts and sweaters. Wear them with skinny jeans. This trend will never subside.

Fall Clothes!

I think it's alright to splurge on fall clothing, since you're probably going to wear it all year. I know it's early, but here is my shopping list for fall.

• Jeans, jeans, jeans! Especially the medium to darker washes. Skinny jeans are the best. Basic black jeans are essential. Don't buy stretch jeans, unless you are bigger. Stretch gets loose throughout the day. By the end of the day the jeans look worn.
  
• Boots! Moccasins! Gladiator sandals! Flip flops!
• Classic shirts! The ones sold at Abercrombie & Fitch-plaid designs and shorter sleeves.
  
• Hoodies! Pullover hoodies are the best, in my opinion. You don't have to find a tee to wear them with. Buy brand name fleece from companies like Abercrombie & Fitch or Hollister.
  
• Sweaters! A fitted, knit sweater to wear on a cold day. Think Ralph Lauren and J. Crew.
• A fitted, but loose slightly off-shoulder sweater.
  
• Graphic tees! Don't buy these from Abercrombie & Fitch or Hollister, they are often overpriced and made from Polyester. This material doesn't look well after lots of washes. To really stand out, buy your tees from Forever 21, Delias etc. You are going to be buying a lot of these, so it's best to buy them for cheap.
• Skinny belts! Look for the leather, brown ones. Or white. They have a classic look, and they look better on jeans. Don't buy these from Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister or American Eagle. Forever 21 has the best ones. Plus, they're only $6 or less.
• Jackets! Coats! You might want to splurge on these. Since you'll be wearing them for an entire winter. Abercrombie & Fitch has the best ones. If you want to buy a few cheap ones, go to Forever 21.

Denim From Forever 21!

Last Monday I saw my friend, Chloe. She was wearing these bad ass pair of jeans, so I had to ask her where she got them! She let me check, and guess what? They were from Forever 21! I went online, but I couldn't find them. I found a lot of mediocre washes. None that were good enough for me. I saw a pair of Georgia Skinny Jeans that I loved. I think I'll buy them. Every girl needs a black pair of jeans! It's an essential. They're slimming!
